Everything seems to be falling on me at one time. A neighbor, who is a good friend of the family, committed suicide a couple weeks ago. Now we're concerned that her husband will do it too. My dad has a mole on his back that my mom finally convinced him to see a doctor about. He saw a dermatologist today that believes it is skin cancer. Work has been really bad lately, and I've been sick. I continued to work 13 hour shifts with a sinus infection and Bronchitis. I had the worst patients of anyone on the floor. That seems to happen a lot lately. I keep wondering what I did to piss them off. Sometimes it appears to be a racial issue, but I'm not going to get into that. I don't want anyone to be offended. Why does it all have to go wrong at one time? I feel so bad right now. I just want to stay in bed and pull the covers up over my head till it's all over.
Sorry to bug my cysters with all my whining. I just needed to let it out.

So sorry. I hope everything works out. Mean patients suck. I had one refuse to take a pen from one of my coworkers because she was hispanic! I hate the 2nd floor!!! lucky for me i dont have to deal with them any more. That probably does not help you. It is just that time of year all the loonies come out of the wood work. It will get better when it starts to warm up. I will pray for you!
I'm sorry to hear about ur dad & ur friend. Sounds like ur goin thru a lot right now. You work really long hours. You must be so tired.I've had really horrible customers at work as well.Hope u feel better soon! xx

Thanks, guys. I just got home from work and I'm so exhausted. At least I had better patients since the usual charge nurse came back. It's just so hard to deal with everything anyway, and when you're so tired, it's so much worse. Thanks for the well wishes. Now I'm off to sleep away the day until I have to go back to work tonight. Hope y'all have a good day.

On top of everything, I appear to have come down with a stomach bug. I called out of work so I was able to get a little sleep. Why must people try to make you feel bad about being sick and having to miss work? It was best for everyone that I stayed home last night, but their response..."Oh, Sandy. I already don't have enough people tonight." We're short every night. Here's an idea...Hire more nurses!
