Default Light bleeding mid cycle?

I thought I would ask here also. I posted on the TTC board because I am TTC but maybe other gals have had it as well.

I woke up this morning with the urge to clean, so I got down and dirty in the computer room and have been at it all day. I've been bending down picking up books from the bottom shelf and putting them on the top and vice versa. Trying to get organized before school starts up again.

Anyway, about three hours ago, I felt a lot of EWCM, but it turned out to be a light flow. I've been spotting on/off for the last few days, but today is the first day I've actually felt a really light flow. I had spoken to my Doctor about the spotting and he told me it some women have light spotting for a few days while ovulation occurs and not to worry about it. All my test had come back normal (no blocked tubes, no endometriosis, everything clear down there) but it's confusing me as to why I've got a light flow. Could it be because of the bending over and squatting? My Sister works at a library and she's never complained about midcycle bleeding to me though LOL I called my Doctor but he's not in and the nurse was no help. She just told me that if I started to feel faint or if I was hemhorraging to go to the ER. Anyone else experience this or hear of something like this? I feel like I've got a light cramping feeling and the flow is very light and pink. (Sorry if it's TMI) Any help, advice or opinions would be greatly appreciated! Thank you in advance!

I had been ovulating normally for 18 years or so, and then all of a sudden my PCOS symptoms cropped up and also the mid cycle pain and bleeding. I have been told this is not specific to PCOS and that it poses no problems. I disagree as only after my other PCOS symptoms showed up did the ovulation pains and bleeding show up, along with irregular periods.

I've been told, in normally ovulating women, that mittelsmertz is normal and nothing to worry about and also that it can indicate increased fertility. In the case of PCOS, however, I don't know. Best wishes!

wow...i just recently experienced this problem...like while i was having sex i all of a sudden just started to lighty bleed. it kind of worried me because this has never happened before. it didnt have nothing to do with how he was laying it down...but i did not know that bleeding could occur during ovulation. i did some research into other reasons why i may have started to bleed but none of them made sense...but this one does. thanks for helping to put my mind at ease a little. since i found out i have pcos...it makes me look at everything dealing with the body more closely
