I was just trying to figure something out and this may seem very naive but I value all of your thoughts and opinions.....
I know its sometimes possible that you could get preggers even if you are on birth Control esp if you miss pills etc.. Lets say you miss a pill or 2 - you get preg...How will you know if you are or not. Won't your period arrive once your done with the active pills regardless. And if you do become preg and not know it how safe is it on the baby...will you automatically loose the baby? How soon can you test to see if you are pregant while on BCP's.... HELP!!! Maybe I am gettin my hopes up here but there are some def + signs but who knows it could all just be normal things....

I got pregnant on birth control pills. It turns out I got pregnant shortly into a pack of pills, so my baby was exposed to Yasmin for the entire remainder of the pack. Then I didn't get my period in the off week but I have had that happen before so I didn't think anything of it. Started a new pack. Four days into that pack, for some reason, I took a test and it was +++. So I stopped the Yasmin IMMEDIATELY and I did not miscarry and my baby turned out fine.
In retrospect, I had pregnancy symptoms, but I didn't know it. Cramping like AF was going to come for the better part of the month. HORRIBLE depression, crying all the time. Then the day or so before starting another pack I realized my boobs we sore.
I blamed all these things on the birth control pills, silly me. (I had NO idea you get cramping in early pregnancy...)
You would be able to test ~2 weeks after conception/ovulation... I'd say take the day you did the deed, at 14 days to that, and then test again a week later if things are still uncertain.

I believe that if you get pregnant while on bcp's, you will NOT get your period when you're "supposed to" on your "week off" the pills before starting your new pack. So, if you do not get your period, I would definitely get a pregnancy test (during that week off before you start the new pack).
