I have the big pcos Belly that I hate.. and luckily I have a waistline(who cares i have a belly)..SO i pictured my self skinny in front of the mirror I held in my stomach.. and Illllllllllllllll.. Im afraid that if i would lose the weight i would have that hanging skin..I think in some cases it looks worse than actually having fat.. I was wondering If anybody after losing weight has had a liposuction procedure or a tummy tuck.. and how did it go.. did anybody have good results.. because i know that it sounds horrible but id rather be chubby than have loose skin hanging with no place to go..? is that cruel to think like that. |

My husband asked me the other night while I was getting undressed "Are you going to get that tummy-tuck procedure?" ARGH! Are you going to get peck implants????!!! I digress.
I didn't have one, but I know someone that did. She could not lift her toddler for 4 months, doctors orders. If you can get past the recovery, it would probably be worth it. The only problem is, the fat will come back, and restretch your skin, and you will have to have it done again. It would be better to get to your absolute lowest weight, then see if you can live with the sag. You can always gain it back if you prefer the pudge to the sag

My Mood: Points: 366.93 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 366.93 | I have a few opinions on this. I had lipo several years ago after I started gaining my PCOS weight. I was just frustrated because I had been so thin and then started gaining weight. Well, it was useless (of course I didn't know I had PCOS then and had I, I wouldn't have put myself through it)... if you are looking at a tummy tuck, be sure you are finished or not planning on having children. They will tighten your muscles during a TT and having children will just undo that. I have friends that have had a TT and love it, and it was a great choice for excess skin. It's certainly not cheap and there is an extended recovery, so just do your research. If you are young and only 50 lbs overweight, chances are your skin will bounce back pretty good. Any good surgeon would suggest you lose the weight first, otherwise, when you do lose the weight you may not look good. Good luck. |

I was wondering how pregnancy would affect a tummy tuck, thanks for the info! |
