This is my first ever post. I was just diagnosed last month and was put on Met ER 500mg.
Well, I'm also a Lap-Band patient and had concerns about those big pills getting stuck in my band. So I did some research online and found Riomet, liquid Metformin. My Dr. called in my prescription, and I'm going to start it today.
Does anyone else here take Riomet? Will it work as well as the pills?

My Dr. is starting me on Metformin tonight. I haven't picked up the prescription yet...but i'm not a great pill taker. She's put me on 500mg...can anyone tell me if this is a big pill?? Also...how's the liquid form?? I would so much prefer liquid to pills...especially if I have to take it 3x's a day!!
My Metformin is 750mg 2 pills a day and its a big pill .......Good luck!
