i had soup with carrots in it and i had a minor bad reax. but those are the only times i've had bad s/e.
i wouldn't try it.
i really like salads so its sad that i'm scared to order anything with lettuce.

BUT... I have cut out ALL artificial sweeteners and have noticed an improvment in digestion, so there might be a relationship between that... just my thought.

That's my experience as well. I've read through the various foods that have triggered problems for others, but I've been fine.
~ shrimp with linguini and alfredo
~ tortellini pasta and a big salad with iceberg lettuce
~ fried chicken, mashed potatoes, and cole slaw
~ 1/2 a philly steak sub
~ ice cream cone
~ a homemade egg muffin with ham and cheese every morning for breakfast
~ green tea with Spenda all day long
I was told to take my met with breakfast every morning, so maybe that helps. It probably also has a lot to do with me only taking 500 mg. That will get raised to 1000 mg next week, so maybe I'll experience more problems then.
One thing that did really give me diarrhea was some Edy's Fudge Tracks no sugar added ice cream. I ate a rather large bowl of it and was awakened during the night with some of the most excruciating cramps I've ever had. I don't even know how long I was stuck on the toilet. At one point I fell back to sleep.
I read the ingredients the next day and the stuff is full of Malitol. It's going to sit in the freezer until garbage day because their is no way I'm touching it again. I wonder if the met increased the affect that it had on me? |

Coffee is not a good thing to drink while on Met. I had mine with sugar and creamer- not anymore.

I had a big caeser salad on Saturday for dinner and by nightfall, I was crying - literally crying on the toilet with tears streaming down my face - because of the horrendous cramps.
I've never had anything like them.
