Red face

Foods that make me soooo ill all night long:

- pizza any kind, guess it is high carb and high fat
- BBQ chicken wings, too high fat
- jacket potatoes especially with cheese &/or butter, could never eat one for lunch at work
- creamy sauces

It is weird that hard cheese is fine in small quantities but if it's melted... wooah nelly.

I eat salads without lettuce and dressing and I seem to be fine yay!

Ah, yes...what I affectionately refer to as a Salad Shooter.

This happened to me the other day. As I was eating it, I thought, uh-oh...should've had the soup instead. And I really thought that as I was halfway through a three-mile walk when the urge kicked in!

I can't eat barbecue anything. The nausea afterwards is awful.

After watching the Movie Super Size Me I have not been able to eat french fries or go to McDonalds.

I highly recommend watching this movie to anyone trying to cut out fast food. It sure did it for me

I think it depends on each person. You might have to just see what foods don't sit well with you. Sort of a trial and error situation. I had a lot of problems with my stomach being upset when I first started met, but it seems that my body has gotten used to it and I can eat most things in moderation. I do stay away from fried foods because they do tend to upset my stomach big time. I have no issues with pasta or salads and I can eat some sugar, but I try to do so sparingly.

Oh I know what you mean. That was a real eye opener. I'm not a big McDonalds fan anyway, but that was enough to turn me off to fast food for a long time.

I also saw something on BBC America this weekend that was sort of the opposite. It was Super Skinny Me and it documented 2 journalists trying to go from a UK size 12 to a 00 in just 5 weeks. They went to some pretty extreme measures and it just was not healthy. It further cemented in my mind that I don't want to be skinny, I want to be healthy.

Funny, I saw the movie back when it was in the theater and it didn't really affect me at all. Guess I am weird.

Am I the only one who's finding this thread amusing, yet sitting here saying "OMG, I can totally relate."

My problem foods & drinks are:

Coffee with Cream. I refuse to give it up, so I make sure I finish my last cup 1 hour before going anywhere. Any greasy or oily food. Fatty meats. White bread. Pasta (whole grain pasta is fine though).

Salads have no effect as long as I use a low fat dressing.

My food issues seem to wax and wane. One day I'll have total nausea and diarrhea from everything and the next day I'll be ok. My main problem is that food doesn't taste as good anymore...even my favorite Thai food! I get hungry and then nothing sounds good to me, most foods make me want to hurl. You'd think I'd weigh 90lbs by now.

Ha! Dh and I watched it at home, and at midnight, I demanded that he go to McD's to get me a Big Mac! So, if anything, it made me want it more!

I am sooooooo gross!
