Default listerine

Has anyone heard of using listerine( mouth wash) on your face?

My cousin and sister swear by it. Both have the same complexion as I do and my cousin heard that using listerine on your face after you wash your face will help clear it up. So my sister started to use it and both of their complexions look great!

So I started using it on my face and I can see the difference.

Its worth a try

I don't know about acne, but I had a HUGE whopping cold sore not on my mouth but on my cheek and I decided to put the gold kind of listerine on it with a q-tip and it dried up really fast!

I don't know if I would use it on your whole face but it may be good to use a q-tip and just dab a bit onto each pimple!

HTH!

I read somewhere that listerine will stop shaving bumps.

well the active ingredient in most mouthwashes is alcohol - so no wonder it would dry up pimples and whatnot... But it's not exactly -good- for your skin either. Alcohol can be harsh on the skin and knock off the balance of your natural oils, causing you to overproduce oil in order to compensate for what you've just stripped away.
