Smile A Little Hope

Hello i'm writing this my success story to give hope to anyone in doubt about metformin.
Well my story goes. Last year at this time I wasn't getting my periods i was overweight hairy depressed and i really really wanted a baby so bad so that if i saw a pregnant woman I would break down and cry. so being sick of not having the periods the hair in the wrong places and my weight. I went to see a OBGYN/Fertility doctor and he told me i had a cyst that needed to be removed and i would need a Lap . I was sooooo scared. well anyways a week later went back for the checkup and i was found to have PCOS. i was not giving metfomin right away infact not for 7 months later. Well in April of this year i started taking the Met the first month was bad i had bad GI and always taking something to calm my stomache. But i did notice i lost 1lb. then next thing about 3 months later i went to the doc and i lost 27lbs Whew i was so happy then last month went to my doc again and found i lost a total of 60lbs!!!! and just 2 days ago AF finally started on her own So just don't give up! I really thought i was gonna be that way forever but look i'm walking living proof metformin can work. it took 5 months but it worked! of course everyone is different but if you don't see results right away don't give up. just hang in there
take care and keep your head up

Wow, it is great to hear a success story! My doc just gave me gluc and today was my first day. It must feel great that your body is getting things straightened out.

That's wonderful news! Met can be very slow going, but it is such a miracle for some.
