I sent away for more information from the agency we will be going through on the 17th of February via internet. I was SO excited because I'm more than just a little ready to get this process rolling and see what other preparations we can make before the all important homestudy.
Anyway, I had been watching the mail all week, so excited I couldn't even stand it and it finally arrived Saturday. I opened up the envelope and inside was a letter, two brochures and a cd rom... ALL FOR A BIRTHMOTHER LOOKING TO PUT THE BABY UP FOR ADOPTION! Needless to say, I'm bummed out. I know it's just a mix up but I was so looking forward to getting that nice big envelope that would be a beginning to a dream come true. I'm planning on going down to the agency personally when I get a spare moment sometime this week or next week.

Aw man. That's a letdown. I'm glad you live close enough that you can go in and get the info yourself. Sorry you had that disappointment.

I called on Friday to have the correct information sent to me and they appoligized and said they would mail it out on Monday (yesterday). I'm SO excited to see what came in the mail today!
