I'm still half asleep, and shall go try to sleep a bit more after this. So, that is my excuse if I make no sense
I'm on BCP, Anise right now. I might have that changed later, we'll see. My bleeding right now is very light. Basically, my CM is just pink. So at the very least, it's lighter than ever, and maybe it'll fully go away? I'm not sure. I have an appt with my OB on Aug 3rd. She'll check a sample of my breast milk, to make sure it's not infected, and then figure out how to stop the lactation since my prolactin levels are normal. I think she'll also have an u/s done on me, to see if anything looks wrong or to see if she can find a sure answer for the bleeding that I still have.
Today my dad is having surgery. Yesterday, he called me..and cried. He said he's been too lucky in the past, with all the things they've done to his heart. He's afraid his luck has ran out, and he won't make it. They need to reattach one of the leads to his heart from the device they have implanted there. They said it was no big deal, but warned him they might need to remove some tissue from his heart, and do a little work while in there. He was just really worried and scared. He told me that if anything happens to him, I will be taken care of. He was being very morbid.
So I will be spending the day worrying about him, waiting for one of my brothers to call to let me know the surgery is over and he is fine. If things go well, he'll be home tomorrow.
And on a final note, I met a guy. A sweeting, caring man...and I never thought I'd find a guy more emotionally open than I am, but I have. Only problem is, he lived in NJ (and I'm in Pittsburgh). But being the sweetie he is, he said he'll hopefully resolve that issue in the future He's coming this weekend, to spend the weekend with me. I honestly can't wait. Feels nice to have love in my life again. Oh, and he made me cry. I told him all about Ari and Daniel, and how I'm scared I'll never get the chance to have another baby. He then told me, he promises, I'll have another chance, and he has super sperm waiting for me Then he said that he'll do anything and everything to make sure I have a healthy baby, and he'll be sure to hire a nurse and maid for me so I won't have to lift a finger when pg. AWWW!!
Anyhoo...I'll be spending the day worrying. I'll let you all know how things went!

I hope you are careful about meeting this man this weekend. Please update us on that please. I hope your Dad's surgery goes well. Often times peiple get morbid right before surgery, I'm sure he'll be just fine. Have a good weekend and be sure to let us know how the meeting went!!

Renee, your father is in my prayers. I echo what Pam said about this man. Please be careful, not only for your physical safety but for your emotional health. I'm glad to hear that your bleeding has gotten much better. I hope you're completely better soon.
I can finally get to a thread after not being able to access SC for a week! I missed it so much!
Renee, your dad will be in my thoughts. People often get very morbid before a surgery. I've heard this is particularly true with cardiac patients, since the heart is the center of it all. (Before my appendectomy last June, which although very painful for me, is supposed to be a very simple surgical procedure for the surgeon, I reminded Brian of everything I wanted and didn't want in case I didn't wake up from it, for example.) Please keep us posted on how things go for him.
Congrats on meeting the guy online...please use caution the first time you meet him in person...we all look forward to getting updates. What is his name (if you don't mind posting it here?)
I just called the hospital where my dad is. He's been in recovery since 9:40am, and he's fine. Big bugger got through that surgery faster than they thought. So, that's over.
His name is Nick. Well, not really...that's his nickname, so I'll use it Nick or stickboy. He's flipping SKINNY as a twig.

Nothing wrong with a skinny boy! My dad and brother are both tall and "twiggy"! So I'm a bit biased. I am SO glad to hear your dad is recovering fine. Congrats to your family!
For your dad being okay and for the bleeding getting lighter.
I echo what everyone else has said about being careful with this guy. But I'm so glad you're looking forward to something again!
