Anyone done a liver cleanse before? I've been reading about how it can help clean out all the toxins so that the liver can work more efficiently. I have high E2 and apparently the liver is the organ that helps eliminate the extra hormones etc. I'm interested in trying a liver cleanse but have never done one before, or a cleanse of any sort to be honest. Would love to know what I can expect and if someone can recommend a good cleanse product. There are so many out there! TIA

it cleared my skin . Im sure its the liver getting rid of horomones that does that. Im not doing a cleanse, but I take lipotrophic complex and caster oil packs to help cleanse the liver. It makes me go tot eh bathroom, alot. But that means its working.

You know...depending on what meds your on this is one of those things I would ask a doctor about before I did it. If you're not taking any pills that effect the liver adversely I would say go for it.

The Toxins in your body will cause acne - anytime you can do a detox its good - I did one through Metagenics about 6 years ago after I took clomid - I think I will do it again in September - the liver had a HUGE impact on our body we don't even know about - good luck keep us posted

Thanx for all the info ladies! I was going to start asap but we are leaving next week for vacation and on second thought decided it might be best to wait until we return home. I just don't know what exactly the s/e will be for me so felt it best to play it safe. I'll be sure to check back and let you know how it goes.

The product I've decided to use is a 30 day program. Is that typical??
