Default Liver Cleanse (flush)?

I had my gallbaldder out a little over a year ago and I have been having pain in my right side for a little over 6 months now. I've been told that you can still have stones after but my doctor disagrees and says that it is probably just a pulled muscle and to take my pills.
Well, the pain is becoming unbearable and worse as days go by.
I found a forum of many people with the same exact symptoms and tests that I have had done and they say to do a liver cleanse and you will get hundreds of stones out.

My question is - has anyone here done one and what kind. I have been researching and there are several different kinds and different pills. A lot of the methods involve grapefruit juice but it is bad to combine with most of my meds that I am taking.

Any info would be great. Thanks!!!

This link is the liver cleanse that my acupuncturist suggested. I haven't tried it but she has tried it herself and recommends it to her patients.

I actually used a liver toxicity herbal mix to help with my liver. It was a blend of about 15 herbs that the acupuncturist had mixed for me. I took it every day for about a month and noticed a massive difference in how I felt and in my mood.

Good luck with everything!

When I was at the fasting spa in Thailand, we drank a liver flush.

Talk about NASTY!

Lemon juice, garlic juice, and some other stuff.

Bleh.

You may have stones blocking your bile duct.
That's a long time to be in pain. Maybe your doctor can order an ultrasound, or something. Just to rule out anything serious.

All docs treat a gall bladder full of stones by surgerically removing the gall bladder. The problem is that removing the gall bladder doesn't stop the formation of stones, since gall stones are formed in the liver. Gall bladder removal is ONLY symptom management.

So it is reasonable to assume that you could have gall stones blocking the bile duct.

I have a copy of a liver cleanse similar to the Hulda Clark liver cleanse that AussiRayne gave the link to. It was developed by Ken Presner, who tweeked the Hulda Clark to achieve even better results.

They both include drinking a solution with Epsom Salts, which is magnesuim sulfate. Mag sulfate relaxes smooth muscles; it is the med that is used to stop uterine contractions in pre-term labor. Since the bile ducts are also made of smooth muscles, it also relaxes that tissue, which allows even huge stones to pass. The both include oil, which stimulates the production and release of bile from the liver which will flush the stones out the now relaxed bile ducts. (I think that is how it works.)

I can email you a copy of the liver cleanse I have, so you cna compare it to the Hulda Clark cleanse, and see which one you would like to try. It's too long to put in a PM.
Just send me an email and ask me to email it back to you.

What every you chose to do, I hope that you can get relief soon.

I too have had my gall bladder out and still have pain. My doc told me it was duodenitis. I thought I had a kidney infection, but the test said no. I was sent for blood tests and was told it was stomach acid leaking out into the first part of the intestine. The pain does go away when I take prilosec in the a.m. and an acid reducer at night. When I forget to take my meds for a couple of days the pain comes right back.

I may look into the liver cleanse to make sure my liver or bile ducts are not involved in this mess somehow too. I swear I am falling apart as I get older!

I'd also rule out any serious medical problem first. But if that's all ok, I tried a liver flush on the recommendation of my shiatsu therapist who is also a nutritionist. She said to clean out the liver you need to eat/drink stuff that tastes "bitter"... there are pills to take with water, or little glass capsules of fluid that you drink once a day for about a month. should be lots of different brands in a health food store. Usually the main ingredient is something like artichoke juice. Tastes very "healthy" to me...but I didn't mind it. (Therapist told me that's a sign that I probably needed it!) Bitter vegetables are also good: chicory, etc.
