Fatty Liver I recently had bloods come back with high liver enzymes, they took more blood and did an ultrasound diagnosing me with a "Fatty Liver". I was diagnosed with PCOS & Insulin Resistance in 2001. I have read as much as I can get my hands on relating to either or both of the conditions. I have found that a Fatty Liver is common in people who are obese, which I am, and can also be caused by obesity. PCOS, Insulin Resistance and Fatty Liver seem to go hand in hand.
I am 33 at this time and I know I will probably never conceive another child, I am very thankful for the 12 year old that I have. I will probably never loose weight but I WILL, most likely, get Type II Diabetes.
It is very hard to cope with such a bleak future. You feel like you are fighting an up hill battle with PCOS. It is hard to understand and deal with. I have been gaining weight even though I try so hard too loose it. We are not spring chickens anymore, but all that goes with PCOS, definately puts a strain on your life (and your sex life)
I know this is probably what you wanted to hear but I am only giving the info how it was relayed to me.
Good luck fellow cysters.
