I was told i had pcos eight years ago after being unable to concieve after my daughter was born. I tried clomid and different drugs which didn't work for me , i have been over weight for like seems ever. I have hair growing out of places it shouldn't.
To make a long story short i was wondering does it really every go away, i had my son almost two years ago and he was premature and i am wondering is there a link between women with pcos and prematurity. I was told i was unable to have any more children and guess what they were wrong.
My docter told me about six months ago that is looks like my overies are fine now, and guess what my periods are all out of wack. I bled for two months straight had to have a dnc to slow them down, then i don't bleed when i am suppose to. I feel like i am getting my period every few days bloating and cramps and then nothing. I am on very strong birth control to help with it all but as of yet nothing has worked , i have another ultrosound on thursday and i am really getting sick of feeling sick. multiple times, i
am just not sure what to do.

Wow, I definately can relate to how you feel. It's frustrating when you have no clue what's going on with your body and you wish it would just start to work how it should. I don't really have anything to say that would sound right, but to hang in there and to try to talk to your dr about it. If you feel like your not getting anywhere, you definately found the place that is a great support system with some great advice. Welcome to SC. Allure

Welcome to SC! There is a lot of information here and you will find a lot of cysters with similar stories. As for PCOS going away, sadly, it never does but the symptoms can be managed and kept under wraps. Good luck with everything. We are always here when you need us!

After living with pcos for eight years docter found two new cyst today not on my ovaries this time. The larger one is 4 cm in length. I have to be on more meds for two weeks then a operation to tie my tubes and burn my insides so i will be able to stop bleeding. i want to know if anyone else has to have this done??? I am 29 and don't want any more kids.
