Thoguht I would start a topic on this. To get a Living Avatar on SC go to your SC User CP--> Edit Avatar---> Click here to create or update your Living Avatar---> #3 Create your Avatar. At the top next to a blank square will say Edit Avatar and Purchase Item.[/color] You want to select Purchase Item. That will give you folders of items to purchase from clothing to accessories to people. Start with a person, then add clothes, backgrounds, etc.
Cropping: To crop your image click the crop button. Hold SHIFT down while dragging the edges of the crop box so that what you want to show in your avatar is within the crop box. Click Save Avatar and it will save the cropping, though in the Edit Avatar page things will look the same. If you remove the Crop box it will reset your avatar so that everything in the avatar box shows.
Prices: Kat has set the prices at 1 point each so far, but I guess that will go up in time. Just like other things on this site you can earn points to buy things for your Living Avatar.
Ajani- You have to buy the whole body. Click under Chibi Life and there are the bodies. There is talk of adding more Christian stuff in a couple of weeks.
As an aside, where do I find the faces? I found a Veggie Tales T-shir (no pants yet) and some backgrounds (and some fetish gear!), but no heads.
Yes, you have to buy an entire body. As Jash said, some of the bodies are in Chibi Life, and the darker skinned people are in a folder further down. (I don't know what chibi life is...maybe some time of cartoon?)

Can someone else verify the registration thing? you really shouldn't have to register at another site to use LA. It's all loaded here at SC.
Also, how many folders of items do you all see? I see 23 folders with everything ranging from hawaiin shirts to sports stuff to guitars to jammies to Christian and Muslim items...
If you don't see all of that, I might have to go in and check some settings...

I clicked on the linked and had to register. Then I saw your post and I am now looking at it. It may be if you go under SC you don't but I think many of us used the link and there you do.
Probably a stupid question, but I see that on the Living Avatars site people are uploading packs. How do we use those packs. . . or is that just for site admins to put on the sites themselves? I downloaded one, but didn't have a clue how to use it here or at Living Avatars.
