Unhappy localized back pain, Help??

I often get very localized back pain, basically in the region of my right ovary(the worse of the two), and was wondering if any one had any suggestions, other than painkillers(have prescription, doesn't always help). Any suggestions to help ease pain are appreciated.

Have a Thermacare on now, they help A LOT, I agree. Also, lie on a heating pad, sometimes as hot as you can stand it, it kind of numbs the pain for me anyhow. Lately stretching has helped just allow where the pain is to stretch, it hurts a little, but it helps. Alleve (non prescription) helps a bit, but the wraps and the ehating pad do better, my happy butt has to buy the X/XL Thermacare wraps, but they really help a lot, I think they're basically iron, and when you open them up, put it on the pain right away, lasts up to 8 hours

I wish I could wear a t-shirt with the slogan that says pain sucks!
In the same boat with the back pain.
