Loesterin 24 Fe

i just recently started the loesterin.. my GYNO perscribed it because when i did actually have a period the bleeding and cramps were so severe, which is why i stayed away from BCP to enduce my periods. so he perscribed me Loesterin because he said it would make my periods lighter and shorter, POSSIBLY.. he never told me i wouldn't have one
i just finnished my first month and still havent started a period, i called and talked to the nurse and she told me to take a pregnancy test and if it was negative then continue on with my BCP so i did, i told her there was no chance of pregnant because im not currently sexually active.
well anyways she comes to say some girls on the Loesterin just don't even have a period... now while i love the thought of this i figured it basically defeats the whole purpose of me even taken BCP since the ONLY reason i'm on it is to have periods..
have any of you girls experience no periods on loesterin? should i quit taking it? should i get a new BCP?
any advice at all, i'm not sure what to do

I took the same BCP on June 1, '08 and I'm still looking for AF. I've taken 2 hpt and they were neg so I with you. I don't know what's up with that bcp. I haven't taken anymore pill since the last pill in the pack.
