I was on Loestrin 24 for 1 month and had to stop taking it. I gained 3 lbs in one week while actively trying to lose, and I was emotional mess! I would just start crying for no reason. I felt horrible on them.

My reason for trying Loestrin was because other BCP's made my sex drive go away completely. My sex drive came back on Loestrin, however all the other side effects really made it a bad choice for me.

GL!

I have been on LoEstrin for almost a full month. I am on a mild low dose antidepressant for my depression due to PCOS and have had no problems with this bcp. I was on Yasmin for 5 years and began to spot several times in 2 months and had to be switched. So far so good with LoEstrin 24.

I did not respond well to Loestrin-24. I have major issues with depression that got much worse during the 6 weeks that I was on it, and it also made my typically low blood pressure get dangerously high. I am now on Yaz, which is also a 24-day bcp and I have had no problems on it.

Default thanks

Thanks for all the info. I am looking into the bcp because I am not actually trying to get pg but I at least want to know that I can. I think right now I should focus on my diet and excersice as that seems to be the most natural way to get AF comming on a regular basis and to ovulate.
