Exclamation Loestrin- Bad reaction? (This is a 6 on the icky scale)

I just started BC for the first time a week ago. In the past year or so, I gained 15 lbs out of nowhere, developed mild acne and started losing my hair a little bit. I also have brown skin patches on my upper thighs and in the past month grew a happy trail on my tummy. Awesome, right? My doctor said I was one of the most clear cut cases of PCOS she had ever seen, but didn't really seem to know much about it. For example, she said it was CAUSED by being overweight. I have a weight problem, but not a serious one (I'm 5'5 155-160 lbs) so this alone totally made me cry, but this is aside the point. She prescribed me Loestrin. I'm having a horrible reaction. My face exploded with acne, but even worse, I'm breaking out all over my body. I've never had body acne in MY LIFE. I'm spotting a lot. Like, just as much as when I get my period, only brown and clumpy. The thing that scares me the most is that I've been running 3-6 miles a day 5 days a week for two years and suddenly as soon as I get above roughly two miles, I get so woozy I get as close to fainting as someone can without losing consciousness.

Is this normal?

I'm seeing a different doctor tomorrow. Am I panicking over nothing? Is there anything I should ask my doctor specifically?

Is there a better birth control I should try?

Wish I could be of more help, but nada. Personally, Loestrin was a better choice for my body versus the YAZ I was on 3 yrs ago. YAZ made me break out into hives and I ended up in the ER getting a hydrocortisone shot (sigh). Different strokes for different folks I suppose.

Get a second opinion and maybe try slowing down on the exercising a little. Hope you find more answers dear.
