Ok, so I'm not the savviest when it comes to steaks, but my hubby is quite fond of a good one. He mentioned the other night that he would love to have London broil. Well...how do I cook that? Do I just make it like a regular steak? Any special advice here? Thanks in advance!

I'm guessing that this is another American thing. London Broils, here, are strips of steak wrapped around a ground meat or sausage filling. They look like thick burgers with steak wrapped around them, and they're usually grilled.

I searched for london broil and found a lot of ways to cook it, from grilling to broiling to using the crockpot. I think the important thing most mention was cutting the meat on the diagonal against the grain.
Ajani ~ funny how things differ even close by (I probably live an hour away from you ) Here London broil is what they call a cut of meat, which is really what probably know of as flank steak (at least thats what I read)
Ahh, flank steak. Great for fajitas! Yeah, it's definitely a cut that is tender only if cut against the grain, and very thinly. But it's great when grilled to medium rare, and seasoned with some nice southwest flavours and finished with a squeeze of lime juice.
Or do it with Asian flavours like a little soy, ginger, garlic, lemongrass, rice vinegar and a bit of honey. You can grill it or broil it. Just don't overcook it.
Heck, add any flavour that you like. A little extra virgin olive oil, some salt and a squeeze of lemon would be great, too. The key is the slicing and not overcooking (can't say that enough).
