I tried searching the forums for posts about this, and while I found related ones, I didn't find one that answered my question.
I very recently started taking BCPs to regulate my wonky cycle, and followed my gyno's order to start taking the pills when AF started. I did so, and everything seemed okay. However, I'm now on day 16 and still bleeding. Well, 'bleeding' is a bit strong, it's more like a cross between bleeding and the brownish discharge I normally get at the end of the bleed. It just doesn't seem to stop, and while I don't have cramps or other discomfort, it's annoying as hell. Is this still normal? My last normal AF was in December, then I had a fake-out in late February (minimal spotting, a few days of normal brownish post-AF discharge), so is this just a case of a lot of pent-up 'stuff'? (I'm half expecting spanners to fall out.

) I should add that this AF hasn't been excessively heavy, in fact, it's been very resonable.
Oh, and another question: the BCP I'm on don't have placebo pills, you just take a 7-day break (to let AF show up) after finishing a 21-pill pack. Now, if I'm still bleeding when I finish the pack, do I go through with the break? Unless I've got it wrong, that'd induce a normal AF, so I'd go on bleeding... which would suck.
Argh, can anyone help this newbie out?
