Question Long blonde hair on face???

Ok, I need help!! This whole hair issue is just more than I take sometimes....I have excess/unwanted hair on my face, arms, legs, bikini area etc. The hair on my chin and under my chin is black and there are also black hairs sprouting out on my sideburn and cheek areas. In addition to this, I have what I guess would be called peach fuzz because it's blonde, but it seems like its getting longer. And when I look at my face in the sunlight, I literally have to force myself not to start crying.

I am scared to death to touch the blonde hairs, even though they are definitely noticeable!

I'm not currently on spiro, but for anyone that is or has been, or knows this answer, would that possibly help both the dark and light hairs? Does it actually cause the existing hair to fall out and not grow back? Or just stop new hairs from growing?

People wish for things like winning the lottery...I wish I had the mind of a scientist to come up with something to cure all of us and make all of these horrible horrible conditions like unwanted hair go away once and for all...

Sorry, I'm rambling. I'm just feeling down about it all tonight.
Thanks for listening,
Kim

i also have the problem with the long white hairs on my face and all over my body.I pluck them on my face because i swear that they get to be at least and inch long! But non of them are black and im very confused by then.My doctor doesn't even know what to make of them!I was on spiro for 5 years at 200mgs a day and it cleared up my acne and oily face but did nothing for those white hairs.

I have the same kind of "hair distribution" you do on my face. Hairs on and under my chin and on my sideburns are black, with the chin ones being the darkest and coarsest. On occasion, I will get a really long (1-2 inches) white/blonde hair on my cheeks or forhead. I also get long hairs on my neck (about 1 inch lnog). I feel like a freak at times. I don't think it's too unusual to have those long ones, though (at least for Cysters). I don't know anything about Spiro. Sorry. I'm still trying to get a diagnosis, actually.

Cool long and blonde

i have the same exact problem. i am so fuzzy and it really looks bad with powder on , so........ what i do is cut those little suckers with a pair of nail nippers. i spend a wile cutting my all my peach fuzz of my jaw and chin. it really helps and its alot better than diplatories and waxing which gave me so many bumbs all over. i just started on spiro a few weeks ago and i am really bummed my skin is really breaking out, i am also getting oiler too, i hope this is only temparary because i got on this stuff to clear me up, now im worse well , good luck tell me if you find a cure for the hair thing. untill then maybe try nail nippers curved kind.

I just started spiro recently too. As for the blonde hairs, I have them along the cheekbones and jawline. About every 2-3 weeks, I use clippers on them. You know, the kind like guys use on their heads. It really seems to help a lot and doesn't leave the shaved look like a razor would. I really hope the spiro does what it's supposed to do.

Ok, I have this problem also. I never noticed until I was in the sunlight with an ex boyfriend of mine, and he told me that I had hair on my face..."wha???".
Ok, so I use Sally Hansen's Brush-On Hair Removal. I use to only have to do it once every few months, now I do it every other week. It doesn't bother me though...I make it like I am pampering myself. After I remove the hair, I put a mask on and just enjoy myself.....

I swear by this stuff and you can get it at Wal-Mart for under $4!!!
Good luck!

Martha, do you know if that Sally Hanson's Hair remover will work on dark, slightly thick hair? If so, I might try it. Thanks!

Thumbs down

I have tried this in the past and it did much of nothing for me. Being a black women I suppose it wouldn't. Guess i'll try shaving.
