Default Long, HEAVY AF

Before I get started, I know this is way tmi.

Ok...AF has visited everyday since April 4. For the 1st 7 days, it was normal. But then, bam! I think all my internal organs are falling out! About 2 years ago, I had this same problem. My dr put me on BCP to solve the problem (no surprise there). I'm going to call the dr Monday, but I was just wondering if anyone else bleeds so heavy they think they're gonna fall apart. I've noticed that most women complain of having no AF. I wanna know if there are any women with extra long, crampy, heavy AF.

Here's to hoping there aren't very many of you! (It's horrible. I can't leave my house because it is so heavy.)

Thanks,
Maggie

Hello

((hugs), sorry that your af is so bad. Mine are always really heavy too. Isn't it awful?

Hope your dr can do something for you tomorrow.

Eva

Default TMI

I know all too well about long, heavy AF. There are some days that I feel I'm going to bleed to death before I stop, it seems so heavy. TMI, but I end up changing a super plus tampon ever 30 mins to hour. On days like that, I just sit in a warm bath and after a little bit, the bleeding usually slows down. I don't have really painful AF, but I do pass large clots. The longest AF I ever had was 8 months. So, I can totally relate. I hope your doctor can do something for you. Best of luck!

My mom had problems with heavy af... she went to the dr. and found out that she had some polyps that were causing problems.... since she was near menapause and all of us kids grown and almost out of the house she opted for a hysto. Have you been checked to see if you had any polyps or anything of that sort?
