Newbie here. I did a search but fell short because I am not really TTC. I'm looking for a new gyno and hoping someone can point me in the right direction. Preferably it would be in Suffolk County where I live.

I wasn't sure if there is really anyone that specializes in PCOS but i'm concerned especially since. We are thinking about TTC in at least a year or so. So many dr's still don't even know what PCOS is. I'm just not crazy about my current one.

TIA!

Not so sure how good she is with PCOS, but I used to see Dr Robin Bliss, who now practices somewhere in Smithtown (I saw her years before my PCOS diagnosis and no longer live on Long Island so I don't see her anymore.) Dr Bliss was kind and thoughtful and didn't have a hang up about my weight and is well versed in complementary and alternative medicine as well. I really liked her a lot.

Okay, I am giving you my pot of gold here...my doctors work out of Stony Brook...they are University Associates in OB/GYN specializing in reproductive endocronology. I have been going to them for years, and originally did so because they know a lot about PCOS, and because I knew that someday I would want children. I have a son thanks to these wonderful men. I am currently TTC #2...still waiting, but this baby will surely be worth the wait!
The number is 444-4686.
Good luck!

Hey Gals!

Would anyone be interested in meeting up for an exercise group or something? It's so difficult to exercise with my friends who don't have PCOS because I just can't keep up with them and they don't understand why it's so hard for me.

I'm in Bethpage.

I'd be interested. I'm in E Northport.

I find that everytime I try to get something together it seems to fall through.
