Hi-
I see a great endo in Lake Success. Her name is Dr. Karen Schwartz and her phone # is 516-608-2806. I know she accepts Aetna/Us Healthcare and HIP but am unsure of what other insurance plans she accepts. She is my third endo and by far the best in that she is very concerned about preventing me from getting Type II diabetes which happens to be my greatest concern right now. If that area of L.I. is too out of the way for you then you can also check out the Find a Dr. section here or go to www.pcosupport.org/ and check out their Dr. directory. I know that there is a highly reputable female reproductive endo on one of those lists that is further out on the Island but I don't recall her name. If you have any specific questions about my Dr. feel free to PM me. I actually see her this Saturday.
I just wanted to say that I saw Dr Hull and I absolutely recommend her. She was great and although I didn;t go to her t get pg, I ended up that way I have to say I have been to so many doctors and I just felt that she knew what she was talking abut and I felt comfortable with her. I would like to go back to her now so that I can get my pcos under control. I know there have been others I recommended her to and I think they went and also had a positive experience. It can't hurt to try I found out, if you dont like one move on to the next. She is in Huntington on Park Avenue. Where about are you on the island? I never see anyone from the Island on here?

Don't know where on the island you are referring to, but, in Suffolk County NY I see Dr Michael Lydic .... this December will be two years that I have been under his care. I think he is excellent. His office is located in East Setauket... his partner is
Dr. Bronson... another wonderful dr... both are affliated with Stony Brook Hospital ...
Great docs in 2 locations.... Stonybrook & Mineola. I travel over an hour and a half to see them!

Long Island, NY re doctor?
