I've seen some women on the boards with really long siggys. Everytime I try to edit mine, it comes up saying it only allows a siggy with 1000 characters maximum. How do some get really long signatures and I can't make mine any bigger?

Some of the members with longer sigs had there's before the board software changed.

(If I could universally restrict the size, I would... Brevity is a virtue )

Go to User CP, located on the right side of your task bar (next to Quick Links). Once you click there and get to that page, you will see Edit Signature on the left side menu. Have fun! Good luck.

I enjoy them sometimes because when they're asking for support you can help them with new suggestions rather than telling them a bunch of stuff they already have done just didn't have room to do.

I hate it when the siggy is longer than their message. Hence why mine is in the smallest font possible

I go around and (firefox) 'adblock' large images in the siggy too. That annoys me more.

I do that too. I love Firefox!

The siggies aren't as bad as they used to be. Some still have monster images, or tickers side by side (I adblock them too in that case), but there aren't as many novels as there once was. Seriously, who really needs to list everything that's happened since 2001, in detail?
