GREAT study! I am going to talk to my doc about this at my nexg appt as the met, increased excercise and decreased diet hasn't done much of anything for me.
Just curious, why did you have such a difficult time getting the flutamide?

Just curious, why did you have such a difficult time getting the flutamide?
My first Endocrinologist had a patient develop liver failure while taking it. The patient was an elderly man with prostate cancer. He may have already had liver problems(?)
My current Endocrinologist had to be talked into it.( I printed up info and took it to him) He has never prescribed it for anyone before. He keeps a close eye on my liver labs. He is excited about my progress.
Metformin did/does help a lot. I just had a problem with hair loss, long cycles, and it was not keeping my testosterone levels down. I have a very strong family history of Diabetes II, so I will stay on it.
