Default long term use of met?!?

im wondering if long term use of met is common? i have only been on met for about 7 months, but am wondering if doctors often believe that this should be a long term plan. I will ask my Dr next time i see her, but in the mean time i was hoping to get some insight on some plans-of-actions that you women have taken.

also, met seems to be working for me ( weight lose, more common periods etc)...

if anyone could lend me some advice or stories id appreciate it! thank you!!!!!!

Default

Many people stay on it their whole lives. Insulin resistance and PCOS do not go away. You will likely always need some sort of insulin sensitizer, whether it is Met or a different drug.
