Default The Longest You've Been On Spiro?

What's the longest you've been on Spiro?

I've been on it about 6 years now.

Does anyone know if there are any long-term side effects that can result from taking it for years?

I've been taking Spiro since I was a teenager, I am now 30. I'm thinking I've been on it for probably 15 yrs. I've never had any problems on it at all. It has done wonders at kicking my PCOS symptoms to the curb.

I'm going on ten years using it, and no really significant side effects. As it is a diuretic it sometimes seems like the urge to pee hits really strongly from out of nowhere and I better get to a bathroom fast. But that's it.

i've been on it daily for ten years as well.....now i'm 45 and the biggest difference is my facial hair is white instead of dark (probably due to age). the white hairs, believe it or not (to me at least) are more visible because they reflect light. so it's the same old problem (noticeable hair) in a different way....
