Wink Looking for adoption agency for Georgia

Hey ladies! I know you guys are a wealth of information on here.

I need some help.

I am looking for an adoption agency that adopts to residents in the state of Georgia.

I would like to hear from my Cysters. It's so hard to just go from all the stuff on the internet and I don't know anyone that has adopted. I need a GREAT adoption agency to work with.

I value your opinions and I'm on a mission. Please respond to my call!!! LOL

Thanks,
Adrienne

I don't know where you're hoping to adopt from, but our agency works in Georgia. www.childrenshopeint.org will take you to their website. They are currently doing adoptions from Colombia, China, Russia and Kazakhstan. They are taking applications for Vietnam, but still waiting for Vietnam to officially open it's program again.

There's a great book called "Adopting In America How to Adopt Within One Year" by Randall B. Hicks. In the back of the book there are a bunch of adoption agencies as well as adoption laws. The book goes in to great deal about different adoptions and different steps to take to adopt. I think you can adopt from any state but you would need a SW to do a HS in your state.

Good Luck!
