My husband and I have decided to take the plunge and begin the process that will finally lead us to our own little bundle of joy. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on agencies, particularly in the Atlanta area. I'm gathering information from a few right now, and planning on attending an information session for at least one or two of them, but any advice would be appreciated.

Although it's not based in Atlanta, New Beginnings is a Christian adoption agency in Columbus GA and their counselors I believe travel up there if need be. They are the ones who handled my daughter's adoption. Phoebe Dawson is absolutely phenomenal, loving and generous. They really get involved in helping you as you go through the approval process, which is highly intensive. They hold annual retreats for adoptive families afterward that are tons of fun. I went to some of the retreats held for birth moms, and had a total blast! Best of luck!

Yes good luck. I am in the same situation here. Im in illinois so if there is any info out there I would love to know as well.
