Hello everyone. To make a long story as short as possible.. Diagnosed with PCOS 4 yrs ago, periods came every few month until Oct of last year. I bled from Oct-Jan.. At times VERY heavy. Jan had D&C/Endoscopy- Diagnosed with Endometrial Hyperplasia. Have been on Aygestin (a progesterone hormone) to stop bleeding since Jan. I was due for another D&C/Hysterscopy so doc could see whats up and see how the lining is doing and take another biopsy. Turns out docs had to postpone procedure because my platelet count is high. I have been refereed to a Hematologist. Appt is tomorrow.
I guess my question is... Does anyone know if this could be caused by medication? Is this common with PCOS or gyno problems?
I'm really scared something else is going on but would be relived if it was just the meds..
