It seems that cysters are rare over here, I have only met a few. I was looking for people to share experiences with, or to chat with, It gets a little boring here all by myself

I'm from Calgary as well! My email address is j2rondeau@msn.com . I am also wondering about the fertility clinic here. I am on the wiaitn glist and should get in to see an RE in august/septemeber. Are any of these doctors PCOS and weight friendly?

Little Bullet- They Doctors there are fabulous, and completely no judgmental. I love my experiences there. Do you know who your doctor is yet? If you get DR. Scott, she is fabulous. Have you done any testing yet? It can be over whelming at first, but then you feel better after its all done. I am on to another round of testing comming up here soon, and don't know what to sxpect this time, but i didnt the first time either, but it isnt so bad.

Sheena-Yes I have done all the testing way back in 2000 at my old RE. We just moved here last july and just got settled this winter and just recently decided to start back TTC. I'm sure I will have to do all the testing again because it's been so long. I'm sure we would be moving right along to injects/IUI or IVF. We have been trying for almost 9 years with 2 miscarriages. Do you know how long the wait is to start injects after seeing the RE? I'm sure it may be a cycle or 2 to complete the testing. I don't know who I will have yet but I will request Dr Scott when the booking clerk calls me.

Jennifer- I dont know how long for injection, but i was on clomid after 2 cycles because i had to do the HSG and everything . Thats also our next step, so once i find out i will let you know.

I am seeing an acupuncturist on July 21 at the winterclub? I don't have her name handy but she deals with infertility and works with the fertility clinic. Still no appointment scheduled.....

I had a girlfriend whos been on the waiting list and her appt isnt until October, I was stunned, I got in there in 2 months! I think the wait is outstanding, but I was also worried that I would never hear anything, I think you should wait and see until after the summer hype is over. Are you seeing an Ob-Gyn in the mean time? I would like to know more about you accupucturist, I am intrigued...want to see one, but have been kinda lazy in looking. Is it expencive or is it covered??

I moved here last July from Ontario. Quite the move but worth it. When did your friend first get referred? Do you know the time frame from referral to them actually calling and booking an appointment? My referral was sent in May from my old RE. Here is the link for my acupuncturist
I think my insurance covers a part of it too, thanks for the link! my girlfriend has been on the waiting list since May, so, reallly it isnt that long, but i dont see why they didnt give you and appointment yet, mind you, i didnt get my phone call until 2 weeks before i had it. Hopefully a spot will open up for you soon. For me, My gyno refered me on november 27th, and they called me Early January for my appointment on January 26th, but i was refered to the Loss Clinic, which is in the fertility clinic, but its as if the loss clinic dose not really exist.*twilight show music plays*
Why don't you call them and see if maybe they got your referal, cause things can get lost in transaction. Maybe you can get some answers then??

I called when my old RE sent the referral just to make sure they got it and they did. I will wait until the end of this month and then I will call. She said I would get a call in 2 months (a month before my appointment). Wow, so it is a longer wait. She told me 3 months but it seems closer to 5. I wonder if they keep you on a cancellation list? Grrrr I hate waiting!! I just want to get this process going already!

i think they do keep you on the cancellation list, so depending where you are on the master list, and someone doesnt go, then you get that appointment....I think i was a little to obvious with that one..lol

Just checking in. I am 9dpo today and itching to test! My temp is still way up but I am having AF cramps and sore BB's. I am anxious for my acupuncture appointment Saturday. Still no word from the fertility clinic yet.
