You know all the talk over here regarding it so I was wondering how all of you like it??? Are the rumors they tell us have any truth. The whole thing sounds good to me, but I wanted some of your inputs!!!! |

However, the most we pay monthly for a single person is 44 dollars a month, we do pay for our perscriptions, but there are some added plan you can get like blue cross or manuallife that cover up to 100% of your prescriptions. Everyone, no matter who, can see a doctor, however our wait times to see specialists are long because there are so few doctors, and to see a specialist, such as an RE, you need to be refered by your family doctor at no cost.

As for me, I am just so confused. Yesterday I had lots of EWCM. The most I have seen in a long time, but I am on CD29 and no signs/symptoms of anything, plus this stupid charting shows that I have not O'd at any point and my temps are very low. This morning it was 96.2. I am frustrated, I am wondering if sleeping with my mouth open and having a fan blowing in my face affect temps that much. My acupunturist seems to think AF is on its ways, but I don't have the sore BB's I had last month. I think I am going to be in for another long cycle. I am also debating whether I should call my dr for my pelvic ultrasound results that was done last Tuesday. I know in my gut they are not going to find a darn thing and I will probably have to make an appointment to go over the results and miss more work. Or would they call if they found anything? I have no idea. Just feeling really defeated today. Hands up...who just wants to be PG and a mom instead of going though all the stuff we have to go through?? | |

Did you by chance as the u/s tech if they saw any cysts or anything while you were there? The clinic told me they do not give results over the phone so you might want to call and make an appointment. The sooner you call, the sooner you'll get in. I wouldn't count on them EVER calling you for any reason. Heck if you leave them a message they call you back a WEEK later to tell you they can't give results over the phone. When was your last appointment? Where did you leave off with your TTC goals with them? Did they already do you b/w and HSG? I'm waiting to get my HSG still. So far they haven't been able to get me in. Although I think AF is on the way because my bb's are sooo sore. They did say they'd "try" to fit me in this cycle for the HSG. When I do call for my HSG I will also be asking for DH's y-chromosome test results. I know they'll probably tell me they don't give them over the phone but if I have to drive over there I will. I paid $400.00 for that test and it was only suppose to take 4 weeks. The results weren't available when we went for our Mar 3 appt. The test was done like Jan 18 or something if I remember right so it should be in now and it will majorly affect if we have to use a donor or not. Sheena: The 17th is a lucky day to test...

| Registered User | I wanted to say a big Hello to all on the board. I have been eating up the information for a while now but not contributing alot...as it was more of a learning experience for me. I do appreciate all the advice and the time each of you take to answer questions and support one another. So here is a condensed version of my story. I was diagnosed about 8 years ago with PCOS...that was after 5 years of dealing with issues that noone could figure out. The last eight years have been a battle with my doctor. No offense to those trying to get pregnant...but it seems as though if you are not trying to get pregnant gyno's don't really see the need to try and solve it. At least mine didn't. After absorbing all the info on here...I kept going back, asking questions, and having him give me different meds to try. Finally for the last 3 months...things seem to finally be looking up - or I should say stopping!! Yay! I don't know how long it will last for...but I will take it, and it gives me a new found confidence to go out and take care of myself and try and get back on track. So again thank you. Is it not a PCOS friendly doctor? If I wasn't ttc right now I would stay on the met but also go back on bcp to help with the s/e. Sheena: Are you on the slow release met?

I agree with Mel about the Met, even if you arent TTC the met will help regulate your innsulin levels, or do whatever magic it does for women without innsulin resistance. When i was on bcps i took met, and I find it to be a mood stablizer for my nasty hormone/sugar induced moodswings.lol. Its a miracle drug for any woman on PCOS. Gynos are a pain in my butt too, definatly not the friendlist bunch. I wish you luck hun. Mel- Im not sure what kind of met im on, all i know is that its 850 a day twice a day making it 1700mg a day, lol.

I take 2 1000mg in the morning and 2 at supper. I think maybe I need something to last me at lunch. I might ask about it. Maybe it would help me actually loose weight. I was never lucky enough to get the met bump.

The pills say met on one side, and 850 on the other. I was wondering myself because mine are ovular, and my friends moms are round..? She only takes 500 a day because of t2 diabetes. So that could be why hers are round.
