I just got a recommendation from a friend who is a doctor for an endocronologist. I'm in the same boat you are...I don't like my current guy, too much a cold fish.

She recommended Dr. C. Wayne Callaway at George Washington University. I called today and left a message to make an appointment. The office hours are T-F from 9am - 4pm, so it might be a bother for you to get downtown during business hours, but my friend highly recommended him, so it might be worth your while. I have an endo who I really like. His name is Dr. Jerold Share, and he's on New Mexico Ave, off of Nebraska. He's up on the latest PCOS research and was great about switching me to Avandia when Gluc wasn't working AND making me really sick.

I recommend Dr M. Bayeh with Cignet Health Center. They have facilities in Largo, Mitchellville and Temple Hills. I attended the Mitchellville location at 301.218.9223. Dr Bayeh was great. Thorough and informative. I wish I had someone to point me in the right direction when I was in search of an Endo. Best of luck to you.
