I am also from CT originally (now living in NYC), and I see a wonderful endocrinologist in Greenwich.
Her name is Dr. Judith Goldberg-Berman, she doesn't specialize solely in PCOS, but she is very good nonetheless. Her number is (203) 622-9160.
She is extremely thorough, and was the one who finally diagnosed my PCOS. Each visit she writes a mini essay on your symptoms, and asks many questions. She does not rush you out of the office or brush off your questions. Overall, I have been very pleased.
I am also trying another endo in NYC, whose name is Dr Geoffrey Redmond (www.hormonehelpny.com). I have an appt. with him tomorrow, so i'll let you know how he is as well.
*Just as a note, the only reason I am trying another Dr. is because it is difficult for me to travel to CT for appts*
Good luck to all of you!
Lisa

Speaker Gary F. Fleischman, O.M.D (Oriental Medical Doctor), Board Certified Acupuncturist
Biography: I have been involved with acupuncture since the early 1970's when United States and China established relationships with cultural and scientific exchanges. From several courses of study and a fifteen-year association with a Chinese acupuncture physician, I am now able to provide comprehensive therapy. Goals to offer Connecticut patients the highest standards of acupuncture services encouraged me to help found the Connecticut Acupuncture Association and the Connecticut Board of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine of which I now serve as chairman. A book I wrote entitled Acupuncture: Everything You Ever Wanted To Know, answers in an easy-to-understand way the many questions people have asked over the past twenty years. My aim for improved health care will continue as I continue to study, to teach, and to treat those in need of Chinese medicine www.acupuncturenewhaven.com
