hello ladies,
I too had 3 rounds of clomid with no luck. I had one cycle of 100mg and then two cyles of 150 with my p4 test at a whopping 1. My first round this month of femara 5mg I had a p4 test of 11! I finally ovulated. My doctor wants to do an IUI b/c there is some complication with my husbands "sample", so to increase the chances of pregnancy we will go immediately to IUI. I am just so excited I actually ovulated! Here's to happy eggs!

It was recommended by my doctor. It didn't hurt that I had excellent insurance which covered it, so they figured why not.

I dont think any number can be too high with progesterone. The more the better. I havent read anything in books or online to say that you can have too much! Yay you for ovulating with the Femara!!! I was dignosed with PCOS when I was 17... Got a second opinion at almost 23 and of course.. I have PCOS.. DH and I had been TTC since Oct 2004... With no success.. I went to an RE in March.. Had different tests ran, blood work, pap, HSG, etc.. Bu the time all the was done it was the end of may.. Started FEMARA June 18th 2.5 Mg cd 3-7.. Got a BFP July 2nd.... Its a wonderful drug!! God Answered my prayers.. | |

Well ladies, this cycle is a "go". I got the green light today. I take out my nuva ring on sat. and then I wait for af then, my date to take my femara and dh to work his magic. Hopefully it works for us.

Good news I have a 26cm follie its on my right ovary unfortunatly but thats ok the doc said it can migrate to the working fallopian tube.

I took my femara today. Ugh, I feel like I'm cramping again. There's a slight pressure near my ovaries. Did anyone feel this?

I am on my second round of Femara and I am having a ton of cramping too. So it's not just you! Let's pray for big follicles. Of course my hubby is not home, he's gone with work so it's a bust for me this month. I guess we always have next month. I started temping this month and it really is helping a ton!!
