My Mood: Points: 880.62 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 880.62 | My femara story DH and I have been TTC since June of 07. We have done four rounds of Clomid with no success. This month I did 250mg of Clomid and went in for an ultrasound on day 11. I had two eggs that were small, so the RE put me on Femara. I had some cramping towards the end of the five days. I went in for another ultrasound this morning and the eggs grew! Both of them are a good size, and I have my trigger shot tomorrow, and IUI on Wednesday morning. So far, Femara is bringing us a lot better results then Clomid ever did. Best of luck to everyone!

He is in the Marine Corps. This was my first cycle on femara and had a big follie grow but I still haven't released it yet unfortunatly. So I guess I am going to need a trigger.

My Mood: Points: 1,316.06 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 1,316.06 | I am on CD 11 and got a positive ovulation test today. So I guess I will be ovulating soon. My hubby works in the oil field so he is gone at a moments notice for sometimes weeks at a time. So far this is the first time it's interferred with us ttc. I did 9 months of clomid and never responded well to it, I also did 3 rounds of injectables. I seem to be responding a lot better to Femara.

And it makes me form follies, but I don't think I am actually ovulation. Since on the 5th I was cd 12 and had a follie that was 26 cm and still haven't had a positive OPK or a temp rise.

I had my first re appointment today and next cycle we're going to be starting femara. It just gives me hope from reading the success stories. Good Luck to you all.

My Mood: Points: 10,111.62 Bank: 11,324.58 Total Points: 21,436.20 | I am very happy I started this thread. ITs really nice to be able to read stories of people who have tried and to meet otehr femara newbies. Leigh- I think I finally Oed atleast according to FF but my sleep pattern is really messed up. I have been going to bed anywhere from 1am-3am and temping at 540 am so I don't know how reliable the temps are but I never go into the 98's and I did then it came down a little but is still fairly high. Even awake and active I rarely go into the 98s .So it may be fairly accurate. I just wish my husband was here so we could have atleast tried.

My Mood: Points: 3,795.13 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 3,795.13 | Victoria....that's awesome. I don't think it matter what time you got to bed as long as you are getting at least 3 hours of sleep and tempting at the SAME time in the MORNING. If you are going to bed at different times then that's ok.
As for your dh...next month hopefully it'll be the other side and he'll be home!!! So glad femara is working though!

My Mood: Points: 10,111.62 Bank: 11,324.58 Total Points: 21,436.20 | I thought the amount of sleep effects temps. Glad to hear as lon gas you have 3 hours your fine. Yeah next cycle will probably be a bust too just because I won't see him until sept 22 and I don't want to risk taking another round of femara and missing the ovulation. But definitly the cycle after tha we will be back in the saddle so to speak, lol. I hope your first cycle turns into a BFP Leigh.

My Mood: Points: 3,795.13 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 3,795.13 | Thanks V! I hope your husband is able to be around!!! You never know what could happen.
Question for you all.....
What type of symptoms do you have while your follies are growing from femara. I have this full feeling that I can't quite explain. I wouldn't call it cramping, but I can definetly "feel" my ovaries. They feel very sensitive. I can definetly tell something is going on in there. Now take into consideration that I haven't felt ANYTHING going on in my ovaries since my teens so maybe I can feel all of this because I'm not used to it.
What are your stories?
