Lisa: I do have an appointment with my therapist, but it's not till the 15th. I've tried to get it moved up but the only way I can be seen sooner is to go into what they call crisis care and then I still wouldn't see my therapist so i'd have to try to tell my story again. Honestly i'm just trying to avoid talking to another stranger up there. I'm not a big fan of the place, but they have a sliding scale and will let me pay as little or as much as I can afford each visit.
I woke up in an okay mood, but something someone said in another post hurt me. I don't know that she was talking about me, but it was very possible and now I feel like ****. I think i'm just not going to post anymore. I have email, AIM and yahoo so if you want to stay in touch you can. I'm just not up for being attacked for no reason.
TehGhettoPirate, I'm sorry you decided to leave. :-( Can I contact you as well?
Lisa, thanks for understanding.
I was doing good today...till I found out my coworker's sister is pregnant. I think I have issues being around pregnant people...I get very jealous and emotional. But I'm on to my first round of Clomid, so hopefully I'll get a BFP this cycle!

I am glad to hear that you have an appointment to see someone soon. I think it will help you!
I am very sad to hear that you will not be posting on here anymore. I'm sorry something someone said upset you, maybe it wasn't meant for you and even if it were I don't think you should let someone run you away from a great board like this! Please reconsider, I hope to see a post from you soon.

Isn't that the way it goes? Everyone around you seems to be pregnant all at the same time, makes ya want to pull your hair out! But don't worry I have faith that the Clomid will work like a charm and you will be posting " I GOT A BFP!!!" real soon. I'm just getting started on trying to get my PCOS under control so I am not TTC just yet but hope to be soon. I have an appt at the GYN on Monday and I hope to be officially diagnosed then and put on Met, Spiro and BCP. (Yep, I have my own treatment plan all worked out, lol). Hopefully within the year I will be pregnant but until then I am with you in being jealous every time someone I know gets pregnant without any effort at all. Our turn is coming soon, I can feel it. You keep your head up and think positive thoughts and I'll be praying for ya.

Thanks Lisa! My friend Erin was like, "I bet Lindy is going to have twins!" because of Clomid's 5% multiple rate, plus multiples run in the family(My aunt and uncle are fraternal twins). So that would be really awesome, I can only hope.
I'm glad you're working on getting your PCOS under control! I can say, after losing 20lbs and being on Met and a low-GI diet, I have more energy and enjoy the way that I look. It's always nice to go into a store and realize, "I'm a size smaller now" :-)
I hope you have a great GYN and he or she will get you set up on that plan!
My mom was 31 when she was pg with me, so I bet you'll get your BFP when you're TTC! Sending good vibes!

Its been so busy here,i moved into a new house and it was so crazy at work with the holiday!
I've been feeling a lot better,i went in for my appointment and my blood pressure & blood sugar was through the roof.i figured because i was waking up with the feeling of my heart beating in my throat. They decided to take me off metformin & spironolactone,it hasn't helped me lose weight and i feel terrible on it.It could also be the culprit of my high blood sugar and pressure (im always normal in both!).I'm glad because my anxiety was horrible on it i'm not sure maybe something to do with the blood pressure.Since then i have *tried* to adopt a mostly organic,wheat-free,dairy-free diet.I have felt a lot better with it! Its so worth it!I'm starting not to even crave junk its awesome! Now if i could just exercise!
Lisa!
How was your appointment?I hope it turned out well!
Lindy!
Your pic is so cute, you two are adorable together!

Hi Glory! I'm glad you feel better and are on a good diet! Not craving junk food is awesome. I understand how you feel about exercise, it's a big deal for me when I walk my dogs!
Thanks for the compliment! Its cool to talk to fellow Georgians. Here near Savannah, it's been pretty hot(even with rain from TS Hanna) so I'll be glad when it gets cooler outside!

Lindy: Wow wouldn't twins be wonderful, I'm definitely sending those good vibes right back to you so you can have two beautiful babies
I think I am going to go with the low-GI diet too because I keep reading that it will help with Met's awful side effects. I definitely want to avoid those. Maybe you can give me some recipe tips from the diet because i have no idea where to start with it.
Glory: Welcome back! Congrats on moving to your new home, I hope you're loving it! Sorry to hear about the side effects with Met and Spiro but glad you are doing much better. Speaking of...
I had a great OB/GYN appointment today. He prescribed Met and Spiro and I couldn't wait to get home to take my first Met pill!!! lol. (Now after reading your post Glory I am hoping that I don't have the same side effects as you! Wish me luck). I am so excited to finally be doing something about this PCOS and not just trying to ignore it and hope it would go away. Now my GYN wants me to see an Endo who will be treating the PCOS.
My GYN told me today that I should really think about having babies soon because "30 is getting kind of old" (Like that's not something I think about all the time, lol). Yes, he is really blunt and I like blunt. I told him I would love to have a baby soon and he said it's possible and the Endo could help with that. So that gave me some hope that my BFP is soon to come.
Had a bad day yesterday mentally but today was a good day. Hope everyone else had a good day as well.

Hi everyone! I also am struggling with depression, and am going to the Dr tomorrow morning to ask for some medication to help (I also have anxiety issues). So, I would love some friends to talk to about it...and I live in GA too!

Welcome pete0531! Sorry to hear that you are struggling with depression as well. Believe me I know how hard it is to deal with every day. Glad you are going to your doctor to ask for some medication. I've only been on my meds for a few months but I have definitely noticed a difference in my depression and anxiety. They are by no means miracle drugs that make me 100% better but they sure do help and I am grateful for them! Good luck tomorrow and I hope you have a great appointment. Keep us updated.

LisaPA: Thanks! I will keep you updated. I am glad to hear that your meds have been helping. My body reacts strangely to most medications, so I am very nervous about taking them. So, hopefully they will help me as well! After trying to deal with this myself for about a year I am ready to try some medication.

Today has been alright, except I'm a bit paranoid about certain PCOS symptoms(hair loss in particular). I read that biotin helps, so I bought some today and I'll see if it works. I don't have any noticeable hair loss really, but I have been shedding a lot and I noticed my hair seemed thinner(I had thick hair to begin with).

And, I am a GA girl too!

I went to the Dr this morning and got Citalopram. So, I hope it helps! I've had a good day today (mentally) but yesterday was horrible. Have any of you ever taken it?

pete0531: Glad today was a good mental day for you, those are always wonderful! Sorry yesterday was horrible but hopefully with your new prescription you will have more good days than bad. Sorry I have never been on Citalopram but I did a search of the name on here and tons of threads came up. I read through a few and there was some negative as well as positive. I would read through some if I were you.
Lindy: I have been doing good, today was another good day :-) I think I just feel better now that I am on Met and Spiro and may be able to finally feel good about myself again. I haven't felt that in quite a while!
I know what you mean about the hair loss issue. It's a good thing you don't have any noticeable hair loss and you are trying to make sure it stays that way by trying a product now! I made the mistake of noticing hair loss and just hoping it would stop. Trying to ignore it lead to severe hair loss, my BF doesn't think it's that bad but it is EXTREME to me. I'm hoping the Spiro helps to stop it. I haven't heard too much about Biotin but the information I got from a quick Google search seems promising. I wish you luck on using it!
Ladies, have a great night and a better tomorrow!
