Hi! I am a newly diagnosed PCOSer and have battled major depression/anxiety/ PTSD for that last 10 years of my life. I am currently taking Zoloft and Wellbutrin. I was weaned off Effexor in January when my DH and I thought we would start TTC. This was months before I got the PCOS diagnosis.

Additionally, I have a Masters degree in psychology and am a child/family psychotherapist.

Welcome. How is Zoloft and Wellbutrin working for you? Oh no, I was just weaned off of Effexor and it was horrible!!! How did that go for you?

Hey Lindy,

Glad you are feeling more optimistic lately, that is always a great mental place to be. Sorry about the night sweats and weird taste Clomid side effects but the benefits of what it can do for you (come on BFP!!) is definitely worth it, right? I think you should try Atkins because I think it would definitely lessen the side effects of the Met.

I start my job at CVS on Wednesday, it took forever for my background check to be cleared. Not a criminal (lol), the background company just decided to take their sweet time. Anyway I am looking forward to starting. The other work at home job I am supposed to start tomorrow has to wait because they want $50 for a manual and headset, which I don't have. Oh well, we'll see what happens with that. Well off to eat dinner now..

Welcome csp178!
Nice to meet you.

So today i went to Ob/Gyn.After 2 months of having my periods stopped i feel a little better.I only bleed for 3 days like i did before endo not crazy 1wk heavy or 3 month bleeds.I was about to get a Lupron injection but then a female dr talked to me & my DR about going on Depo.Apparently it stops your periods but doesn't make you go into menopause like Lupron does with no side effects! And since i had one shot 2 years ago and i was fine they did it right away!Of course if it doesn't work i gotta do the Lupron anyways but im hoping i can bypass the side effects and get better with this! I'm keeping my fingers crossed! I was also put on Celexa by my new GP but she wants me to do counseling,i don't feel ready.

Lisa:
I meant to ask you how are you doing on metformin?Any sign of AF?

Welcome csp178! I was originally going to major in Psychology in college, but I changed my mind. How are you?
Glory, I'm glad your periods are doing better! Let us know how the counseling goes.
Lisa, I hope your new job is going well! Is the Met treating you okay?

Well, on Monday I had the most horrible moodiness due to the Clomid. It lasted till yesterday, but it went away, thank goodness. Today I had some hot flashes and some twinging pain on both sides of my abdomen...maybe I'm ovulating? I hope so.
The Clomid is also reeking havok on my skin and I'm breaking out pretty bad. Oh well. At least it's not as bad as when I was 14.
