Pinky, I dont remember what I put in my PM but...
I saw Dr. Wong (said Wang? Or maybe it was Wang said Wong???) in Winnipeg. She was an OB/GYN. I don't recommend her. I see Dr. Salamon at the Winnipeg Clinic (endocrinologist) and I love her. I think that should probably be your first step. Get your GP (any doc will do...even if it's just a walk in one) to write you a referral to her. She can help you and guide you to the next step depending on what you're wanting to do. I love my OB (just saw her for the last time today

) but I would strongly advise againstly letting an OB/GYN treat PCOS. They tend to jump to BCPs very quick. If thats what you want, then they're fine but since you will want to concieve sometime, it's likely better to get started on metformin and give it a chance to work, if thats the route you want to take. When/if the time comes for you to go to Heartland, I've heard that all of the doctors there are great. I was scheduled to see Dr. Kredentser but got a BFP about 1.5 weeks before my consultation. I spoke with another cyster on here who saw him and she had nothing but wonderful things to say about him. From what I've read, they are all amazing doctors.
Anyway, I hope you can find someone that you like. Good luck!
