Not sure if this thread is still live, but Atlanta Center for Reprod Med was awesome. We conceived our little girl with them. Both Dr. Wright Bates and Dr. Carpenter were awesome.

I ditto DachshundQueen. I also used Georgia Reproductive Specialists (Dr. Perloe). I was pregnant six weeks after my first appointment there! He is GREAT.

Atlanta Center for Reproductive Medicine will not treat PCOS women who are obese. They want to give you met and send you away for 6 months to lose weight. (and I was only 222lbs then) Dr Wright Bates was nice, Dr Carpenter blamed an infection from an HSG on DH and DR Andres Denis told my DH I would die at 42 because of my weight. I wouldn't send my dog to them!

I have heard good things about Georgia Repro. Specialists and Dr Perloe

I go to Reproductive Biology Associates and see Dr David Keenan. He is very respectful and will treat overweight patients.

I hope this helps.

I went to Georgia Reproductive Specialists for a couple of months about 2 years ago. they are good. i would recommend dr perloe...i went to dr conway who wouldn't do anything for me because of my weight. i've lost about 80 or so lbs since then and am planning on heading back to see perloe this time. he's a pcos specialist and has been published in a lot of journals and magazines talking about it.

their website is ivf.com and they have an office located in buckhead and one up 400 (i think in alpharetta).

Good luck!

Me, too, although I was going to Dr. Sills just for PCOS, not infertility. However, people come to them from all over the country because they're some of the best.

And they do treat you if you're obese. I was morbidly so when I starting going there.

When I went there, to see Dr. Conway for infertility, she would not treat me because of my weight. She sent me to a dietitian, for which I had to pay out of pocket, who suggested I get bariatric surgery. I am not saying anything against the office in general, overall I liked them, but they would not work with my husband and me until I lost weight (I was around the 300lb mark at the time).
