I am looking for a doctor that specializes in PCOS somewhere in the Tri City area. I don't mind driving to Pasco, Hillsborough and Pinellas counties. Any responses are appreciated! Thanks! |

Are they any good? My doc just wanted to put me on BCP's until I was ready to have children. She doesn't seem to know anything about it! | |

I have heard several cysters in the area recommend this group. I have had both good and bad experiences. I do not like the PA in the office at all. Every time i see her I have to wait a god awful amount of time. I also asked to be but on Byetta for my IR and they don't want to prescribe it but they are working with me, prescribed Met, and actos for IR, and vaniqa and Meridia for hair and weight loss.

You are still talking about Dr Chandra right? I think anything would be better than the doc I have now, who knows nothing about it and just has me on BCP's.

Yes, there are 3 doctors and one PA in his office. I"ve seen all the doctors in the practice, I actually see Doc Kumbkarne more often than any of the others.

I actually found it on here. I think its a doctor that treats PCOS exclusively. PCOS Medical Center opens in Jacksonville, Florida!

Hello ladies, I am not sure if you are still on here, but you may want to look into Dr. Goodman of the Reproductive Medicine Group. There are 5-6 Dr.'s in the practice, but when I called, they said she specialized in PCOS. I have an appt there in Aug. They have a helpful website, you can look it up by the name. HTH | |

I'm good friends with an ARNP and have been going to her group of dr's. Dr Whitcomb has been wonderful but I've only been going to her specifically since we started ttc. You can still give them a try. There are 3 offices in the TB area. | |
