Default Looking for a quick reply, please... :)

I was dx'ed with PCOvaries (not full blown PCOS) in aug last year. I had been suffering from infertility for almost 15yrs. I have one fertility baby that was born at 26 weeks in 2002. I actually got pg on my own the very next cycle after getting the dx of PCO. The fert doc is convinced I have PCOS too, but hasn't put it on paper.

My new baby is 4weeks old and I have a milk supply issue. I convinced my OB to give me metfomin, but I am still having a supply issue. I have been on Metformin for a week now. I want to try Domperidome but want to make sure that there isn't any drug interactions I need to worry about with it and Metformin. So I am posting hoping to get a quick, educated answer so I can place my order today. Thanks in advanced!

I would recommend calling the pharmacy and talking to the pharmacist. They can help steer you in the right direction.

I agree. You should speak with a pharmacist about the two and possible interaction effects. Good luck!

And congratulations on your newborn!

Thank you. I am hesitant to call because domperidome is not sold and maybe banned, if I remember correctly in the US.

I tried to see if I could find links that would inform you about the interaction between the two, but all I could find were these. The metformin lists other medications not to take while taking Metformin. I do not see anything similar listed, but I would still ask the pharmacist. It is not legal in the US to take, but find out anyway. A pharmacist can only allert you to the dangers.

I ended up email Dr. Jack Newman and he said there was no issue with it. Thank goodness. I placed the order yesterday! Hoping it will help increase my milk supply!
