Default not sure what you need

I don't know what type of Dr. you are looking for, but my GP in town is Amy Thomas. She's really wonderful and she diagnosed my hashimoto's after year's of its going undetected. She had referred me to an awesome endo (unfortunately he's now left town and I've been having trouble finding a new one, which is why I posted the post for an endo). Hope that helps! As a fellow San Antonian, please let me know if you know of a good endo.

Hey, thanks. Just wondering if you have her contact information.

Also, have you heard of Richard Lackritz? He's an ob/gyn and a reproductive endocronolgist.

Lackritz Richard M

I used to see him and he diagnosed me with PCOS. But, than I started seeing a PCOS Specialist in Houston, Dr. Allon. (He was great, but the drive was too much!)

If I can not find luck with anyone else, I guess I will go back with Lackritz. (He said he could get me pregnant.) LOL

If you start seeing him, let me know what you think of him.

Default more info

Amy Thomas's contact info is:

Santa Rosa Family Health Center
2829 Babcock Road Tower 1 Suite 236C
San Antonio, TX 78229

210-705-5100

The other thing I like about her office is that even when I was a new patient last year it wasn't too hard to get an appointment.

We haven't moved on to an RE yet. We're going to do a couple of rounds of clomid before we take that step, so I haven't tried Dr. Lackritz. Did you switch to the doctor in Houston because you didn't like Dr. Lackritz? I know the midwife I am using (for gyn care) has a fertility specialist she really likes. If you are still looking for an RE in a couple of months, I will pass along the name to you when I get it. Good luck!!! This is such a confusing road and finding good and compassionate doctors is such a challenge!

Oh, one other idea: Dr. Thomas might be able to recommend an RE to you. She recommended an endo to me and a cardiologist, both of whom I've really, really liked. She did her residency in San Antonio before she started practicing, so I think she knows a lot of the doctors in the area.
