good question the last 2 weeks ive been using an aloe vera shampoo from the health shop, which seems to mean less hair in the sink, but it could all be wishful thinking , i suppose.

I honestly dont think there are any shampoos to help REgrow hair, except Rogaine, but, I dont know much about it...There are of course products that can help your hair look fuller...There is a goodline from Matrix called Amplify, they have wonderful products for women with thin hair, I would try that. You can buy it at a salon, or some place like Ulta, I dont know if you have one there, but its a professional product, so you have to go to somewhere professional to get it...GL!

Try going sulfate free. I had thinning hair BEFORE my PCOS got bad, and I controlled it then by dropping anything w/ingredients ending in sulfate (eg ammonium laureth sulfate, sodium myreth sulfate etc.) You won't be able to use anything from the drugstore and only about 10% of salon products are OK.

A lot of people say that they are safe and not harmful, but for me, the proof is in the pudding. Those are degreasers and are very very hard on your scalp. I was losing hair and now I'm not, even in the midst of hirsuitism, acne and Metformin.

Good luck!
