My DH is graduating from grad school and I would like to engrave a watch for him. There is not much room so I thought I bible verse would be best. I had wanted to say, "With God, all things are possible". Is there a verse to that effect? Or maybe you know of something else that may be inspirational? Looking forward to your suggestions!!!

Guess I should clarify that I am looking for the actual "book, chapter, verse". I am only going to have room to put the name of the book, and the chapter and verse numbers. I can only engrave on the perimiter of the back of the watch. The back center of the watch has a piece of glass so you can see the inner workings of the watch. Not my idea. This is the watch he wanted. Just not much room to engrave.

Nikki - do you happen to know the book, chapter, and verse of any of those?

I don't know where the second one is. http://www.biblegateway.com/keyword/ is a pretty cool tool, where you can plug in key words of things and find verses that contain them.

I don't have a specific verse but I would peruse the Christian Bookstore website (christianbook.com). I bought really neat frames with a small grain of mustard seed adhered in the middle with the bible verse around it. They were really nice.

You can see what they have on items and then take the verse to use~

I have a frame on my desk at work with the "those who hope in me will not be disappointed" , I am mad at myself because i cant remember what book its in, i thought i knew and i looked...and i was wrong...

I will let ya know monday on that, and if i have anyothers that come to mind, i will let you know.

BUT i agree with framin, with graduation time coming up the family christian bookstore or Lifeway christian book stores has LOTS of stuff with scripture on it pertaining to this time in someones life....

Thanks for posting the BibleGateway. We're English Civil War re-enactors - parliamentarians (the side who executed the king) and have been trying to find a passage we had on our standard (flag) years ago, *Gather yourselves together that ye may eat the flesh of kings* and I couldn't find it for some reason. Found it in a second with that site! We needed it for a discussion on a forum but it's 28 years since we painted that standard and couldn't remember the passage to quote it! We're all atheists/pagans playing fundamentalist christians - so no-one had a clue how to find it. I would have found it quoted in Milton originally, probably, but re-reading the entire prose works of Milton would have been a life's work! Ta for that link you just made our day!
