After two months on Met, I'm excited to announce an improvement on my LH:FSH levels. My blood tests back in March reveled 3:1 which is what initiated my PCOS diagnosis (that and a year of ttcing).
Since then I have increased my exercising and reduced carbs. I'm a thin cyster and I've lost about 5 lbs. Two months ago I started Met and my latest blood test show a 4.0:2.8 ratio. That's CONSIDERED 'normal'!
I'm really hoping that this will do the trick and help me conceive (and carry full term). Although I hate taking this medication 3x a day, this hormone level improvement will help keep me going.
The potential of this drug to get our hormones straightened out is great! I am enjoying a "low-risk" pregnancy with no other supplemental help or expectation of trouble. I am keeping an eye on my glucose from time to time and staying on my low carbs that got me my egg.
I sure hope it happens soon for you! This is great news so far!!

2 months..wow that was fast! Great news, Melissa! I am like a swooping bird of prey the day my labs come in from my Dr....It's always exciting to see them start to normalize. Best of luck as you continue with the met!
