Default Looks like it's finally starting....

I started spotting yesterday- and the bleeding is getting a little heavier today.... so far nothing too bad- my back is killing me though. My beta was down to around 2700 on Friday.... so that is coming down as well.
I'm just so ready for this to be over and to start moving forward again. How long did you wait until ttc again ? My doc says 2 or 3 cycles- anyone get pregnant again right after mc ? I'm just so afraid I won't be able to get pregnant again--- this was my miracle baby...... *sigh*

(((Hugs))) Celtra, I am truly sorry to hear this. I would wait at least two cycles, if not three. If you don't have a D&C done (and I really reccommend it) you need to at least allow that much time to be sure all of the "material" has passed thru your tubes. I had an ectopic right after TTC again after a m/c and as a result I lost the baby and my tubes. It's just not worth the risk. Take care of yourself.

My doctors said one normal cycle. I'm TTC again this month after waiting one cycle. They said unless there are medical complications one cycle is all you physically need. Otherwise, waiting is just for mental preparedness.

Celta,

I think you should probably wait atleast one cycle, but that is something you will need to decide.

I just wanted you to know that I got pregnant after a recent miscarrage and I didn't even wait the one cycle. My doc says everything should be ok because my HCG levels were never that high when I miscarried. She said the important thing is that you go about 21 days without bleeding before you get pregnant.. Your lining needs about 21 days to rebuild. So if you are like me and have irregular periods (Ovulate late). You can start after your HCG goes to 0 & you haven't mc bleed in 3 weeks. If you get your period every 28 days, you might as well wait the full cycle, because by the time its ok for you to try you will have already ovulated.

Also, there are fertility advantages to MC's. According to what I read you are more fertile for 3 months after MC.

Karen

Celtra, I am so sorry I've heard that you only have to wait one cycle before your m/c. {{hugs}}
